Referral

NHS community team referrals should be submitted to the Single Point of Access Team where referrals are reviewed on a weekly basis. 

NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups may consider funding a patient when specialist facilities are not available locally.

Treatment costs may be recoverable under major health insurance schemes. Admissions must be arranged through the patient’s own GP and/or psychiatrist.

A daily rate is charged which is inclusive of accommodation, all normal nursing care, therapies and activities. It does not include any special medical investigations and any special nursing. A one off assessment fee is also payable.
