At Newmarket House we assist patients in recovery through a focus on four distinct but mutually supportive processes:
Each of these aspects of recovery is addressed across the four stages of treatment from admission to discharge, with every component supporting the others in an upward spiral of recovery.

At the time of their admission to Newmarket House, many patients’ physical and mental health, their identity and relationships are reduced and subsumed within the eating disorder. As they progress through treatment, patients uncover and embrace an identity distinct from the condition. They discover a renewed connection with others and strengthen, repair or redefine relationships previously impeded by the illness. They find new ways to address mental health symptoms and other forms of distress. They regain the physical strength necessary to pursue their goals.
I’m so grateful for all of you there! My life is just something I could never have dreamed for myself. Really truly. And it’s just incredible really. How far I’ve come even from just leaving Newmarket House! Let alone when I arrived!
